Terms of use of Quartum Terra and public offer

Revision of 24 August 2026. This document is published at https://quartumterra.com/en/terms and constitutes a public offer addressed to an indefinite range of persons.

Sections 06 and 09 are also published as standalone documents: Refund policy · Privacy policy. The text is identical in both places.

The Seller — Sole trader (preduzetnik) registered in the Republic of Serbia, owner and operator of the game Quartum Terra. Full registration details are given in section 11.

The User (Buyer) — a natural person with legal capacity who uses the game Quartum Terra at https://quartumterra.com.

The Game — the browser-based multiplayer online game Quartum Terra, hosted on the Seller's website.

Account — the User's record created upon registration.

Gold Terras (GT) — a unit of in-game accounting reflecting the volume of additional Game functionality paid for by the User. GT are not money, electronic money, securities or cryptocurrency, are not exchanged into money and are not used outside the Game.

Additional functionality — optional features of the Game (VIP status, item personalisation and other services), the right to use which is granted in exchange for GT. The current list and prices are on the Products & prices page and in the Game interface.

2.1. The Seller grants the User the right to use the Game and its functionality under a simple (non-exclusive) licence, and the User accepts these terms.

2.2. Access to the Game, registration and the core gameplay are provided free of charge.

2.3. What is paid for is the right to use the additional functionality of the Game, accounted for in Gold Terras. The Seller offers no other paid products or services on the site.

2.4. The agreement is concluded (the offer is accepted) at the moment the User performs either of the following: registers in the Game, or pays for Gold Terras. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the Game and do not make a payment.

2.5. The service is deemed duly rendered at the moment the paid Gold Terras are credited to the balance of the User's character. No separate acceptance certificate is drawn up.

3.1. To register, the User provides an email address, a login and a password. The email address is used for signing in, password recovery and support requests.

3.2. The Game is not intended for persons under 12 years of age. The User confirms that they have the legal capacity required to make purchases, or that they act with the consent of their legal guardian.

3.3. The User is responsible for keeping their password safe and for all actions performed under their account. Any compromise of access must be reported immediately to support@quartumterra.com.

3.4. The account, the character, in-game property and GT are not the User's property and may not be sold, exchanged or transferred to third parties outside the Game.

4.1. The price of Gold Terras is fixed at 50 ₽ per 1 GT when paying in Russian roubles, or $0.60 per 1 GT when paying in US dollars. The price lists in the different currencies are independent and are not a conversion of one another at an exchange rate; the order currency is determined by the selected payment method and is shown to the User before they proceed to payment. The full price list with pack contents is published on the Products & prices page. Prices include all applicable taxes.

4.2. Payment is made as a single charge for a specific order. There are no subscriptions, membership fees or automatic recurring charges. No shopping cart is used: the order is created in one step from the User's account, after which the payment service page opens with the order amount.

4.3. Available payment methods:

• Bank card, SBP or wallet via YooKassa (in Russian roubles)
• Cryptocurrency via NOWPayments (in US dollars)
• Bank card via Paddle (in US dollars)

4.4. Payments are accepted through payment service providers. Bank card details are entered on the payment service side; the Seller neither receives nor stores them.

4.5. The User's payment obligation is deemed fulfilled at the moment the payment service confirms the payment.

4.6. Settlements are made in the order currency — Russian roubles or US dollars, depending on the selected payment method. The final amount charged in the currency of the User's account is determined by the payment service or the User's bank.

4.7. A receipt for the order is issued by the Seller in accordance with the tax law of the Republic of Serbia and is sent to the email address of the account, or on request sent to support@quartumterra.com.

5.1. Gold Terras are a digital product. No physical medium is used and no postal or courier delivery is performed.

5.2. After the payment service confirms the payment, GT are credited to the balance of the User's character automatically, normally within 15 minutes. Where a payment method with manual confirmation is used, crediting takes place within 24 hours.

5.3. The order status and its number are visible to the User in the Game on the «Premium» page, «Gold Terras» tab — the purchase history. A system message about the crediting is also delivered in the Game.

5.4. If the payment went through but the GT were not credited within the stated period, the User contacts support@quartumterra.com, quoting the order number, the date and the amount of the payment. Requests are reviewed within 3 business days; a confirmed payment is credited manually.

5.5. A step-by-step description of receiving an order is given on the Products & prices page.

6.1. If a payment has been charged but the Gold Terras were not credited and cannot be provided, the Seller refunds the full order amount using the same payment method that was used for the purchase, within 10 business days of the circumstances being confirmed.

6.2. Within 14 days of the payment date the User may decline unused Gold Terras and request a refund of their price. The refund covers only those Gold Terras that remain on the balance and have not been spent on additional functionality; the corresponding amount of Gold Terras is deducted from the balance upon refund.

6.3. The price of Gold Terras already spent on additional functionality is not refundable: the right of use has been granted and the service has been rendered.

6.4. No refund is made if the account has been blocked for a breach of section 07 of the Terms of Use, or if the payment was made by a third party without the account owner's knowledge — such cases are handled together with the payment service provider.

6.5. A refund request is sent to support@quartumterra.com stating the login, order number, and the date and amount of the payment. Requests are reviewed within 3 business days.

6.6. There are no subscriptions and no automatic recurring charges: every purchase is a one-off, so there is nothing to cancel — simply do not make another purchase. An account can be deleted by writing to support@quartumterra.com under the privacy policy.

7.1. The User must not:

• use automation software, bots, exploits or Game defects to gain an advantage;
• sell, buy or transfer accounts, characters, in-game property or GT for real money outside the Game;
• insult other participants, or post unlawful content, spam or advertising in chats, on the forum or in in-game names;
• take actions that impair the operation of the Game or place a disproportionate load on the server;
• make payments using someone else's payment instruments.

7.2. In the event of a breach, the Seller may restrict access to individual Game features, withdraw in-game property obtained in breach of these Terms, or block the account. The price of previously purchased GT is not refunded in that case.

7.3. The Seller may change the game balance, the contents and the GT price of additional functionality — this is part of the development of the Game and does not constitute a worsening of the terms of services already rendered.

8.1. The Game is provided «as is». The Seller makes reasonable efforts to keep it running without interruption but does not guarantee the absence of technical failures, maintenance windows or defects.

8.2. The Seller is not liable for the inability to access the Game for reasons beyond its control: failures on the User's side, at communication providers or payment services, acts of third parties, or force majeure.

8.3. The Seller's liability is in all cases limited to the price of the Gold Terras paid for by the User over the preceding 6 months.

8.4. The Seller may discontinue the Game, giving notice on the website at least 30 days in advance. In that case the User may request a refund of the price of unspent GT under section 06.

8.5. Exclusive rights to the Game, its code, graphics, texts and other materials belong to the Seller and to the respective rights holders. Their use outside the Game without written permission is not allowed.

9.1. By starting to use the Game, the User consents to the processing of their data on the terms of this section. The data controller is the Seller, whose details are given in section 11 of the Terms of Use.

9.2. The data processed are: email address, login, password stored as an irreversible hash, in-game account data, technical data (IP address, the browser and device information sent by the browser with each request, a random installation identifier, request timestamps) and payment data (order number, amount, order status). Bank card details are neither processed nor stored by the Seller.

9.2.1. The installation identifier is a random number that the Game stores in the browser's local storage on first launch. It is not derived from the properties of the User's device and reveals nothing about the User beyond what the User has provided; clearing the browser's storage deletes it. The installation identifier is used solely for the purposes named in clause 9.3 and is not disclosed to third parties.

9.3. Purposes of processing: providing access to the Game, identifying the User, fulfilling and confirming paid orders, providing support, detecting breaches of section 07 (including the use of several accounts by one person and automation of gameplay), and compliance with statutory requirements.

9.4. Data are disclosed to third parties only to the extent necessary to provide the service: to payment service providers — to process payments; to the email delivery service — to deliver password recovery messages; to the hosting provider — to host the server; to the web analytics service — to collect anonymised visit statistics (clause 9.7).

9.5. Data are stored until the account is deleted; payment records are stored for the period established by law. To delete an account or to obtain information about the processing of your data, it is enough to write to support@quartumterra.com; requests are reviewed within 3 business days.

9.6. The site uses browser local storage to keep the login session, interface settings and the installation identifier (clause 9.2.1). Disabling local storage makes signing in to the Game impossible.

9.7. The site uses the Google Analytics web analytics service (Google Ireland Limited) to collect anonymised visit statistics. There are no advertising networks or other third-party trackers on the site. Analytics can be declined through browser settings or a blocker; this does not affect the Game.

10.1. The Seller may amend these Terms. A new revision takes effect when it is published on this page; the revision date is stated at the top of the document and in the footer. Orders already paid for are governed by the revision in force at the time of payment.

10.2. The parties will seek to settle any dispute by correspondence. A claim is sent to support@quartumterra.com and is reviewed within 10 business days.

10.3. These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Serbia. Disputes not settled by correspondence are resolved by the courts having jurisdiction at the Seller's registered seat, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protection rules of the User's country of residence.

10.4. This English edition governs purchases made from the Seller named in section 11. The Russian-language edition at https://quartumterra.com/terms describes a separate seller and applies to purchases made from that seller; the two editions are not translations of one another.
